The Mayor of Košice received diplomatic support on the international level with pleasure: „I appreciate such support, it is encouragement for all of us to go further, and fulfil the project as best as we can."

Ambassador Roberts informed that he had initiated contacts between Slovak and British schools as well as he had sought to convey contacts between universities and orchestras. At the same time he has invited the Mayor of Košice to Great Britain to visit Liverpool, the city which was European Capital of Culture in 2008. As he stated, the value of the project remains, Liverpool has changed dramatically, „you can see, feel and hear it". He wished to achieve the same effect to the inhabitants of Košice.
