Within the project ATTAC – Attractive Urban Public Transport for Accessible Cities, on February 29, 2012, the first meeting with stakeholders was held. The project manager introduced the project, its budget, objectives and outputs.
The objective is to develop a strategy for integration of Roma population by means of equal opportunities, it is directed toward decreasing of unemployment and increasing of the level of qualification of the target group.
The project objectives are introduction of intelligent public transport solutions, which would contribute to raising the use of public transport, exchange of information between individual city transport systems, promotion of Košice and the region
BRATISLAVA/KOSICE – The last Preliminary Round decisions were made tonight to complete the picture for the Qualification Round and the Relegation Round, starting on Thursday in Bratislava and Kosice.
KOSICE – Kévin Hecquefeuille scored at 0:46 of overtime to give France a 2-1 victory over Belarus and a place in the Qualification Round. Belarus must now fight for a place at the top level of the 2012 IIHF World Championship in the Relegation Round.

KOSICE – Ryan Gardner had two goals and an assist, and linemate Ivo Rüthemann had a goal and two assists to lead Switzerland to a 4-1 win over Belarus at the Steel Arena. The win gives Switzerland five points in the Group B standings and assures the team a spot in the Qualification Round. Canada remains on top with six points, and France has a single point from its two games. Belarus is winless in two games.
KOSICE – Jeff Skinner led Canada with two goals, with the second one coming on a third period penalty shot, to a 9-1 win over France. Skinner, who leads the team in scoring with five points, also added one assist. Its only been a couple of games, but the players feel that things are coming together nicely.
